Medisch coach • Executive coachMy Story
From taking on personal challenges to becoming a (professional) medical coach, my journey has been about transforming setbacks into strength.
My experiences have further ignited my passion for helping others face their struggles, whether they are dealing with health issues, career challenges, or personal growth. Let me be your guide on this journey of transformation.
I know what it means to receive a life-changing medical diagnosis, to live with a chronic illness, and to choose to live instead of merely survive. From experience, I also know what it means to receive advice from people that is well-intentioned but often unhelpful, simply because it doesn't pertain to me and only results in loneliness, misunderstanding and feeling stupid.
My Values and Beliefs
Empathy and Understanding
For me, it is not only important but also incredibly valuable to truly understand others. I always strive to see the world through their eyes, embrace their perspectives, and genuinely empathize with them in every interaction.
Growth through Challenges
I embrace challenges as opportunities for personal development and growth, viewing them as crucial steps on everyone's journey to success.
Commitment to Empowerment
I am dedicated to empowering others, inspiring them to reach their full potential and create a positive impact in their lives and circumstances.
As the eldest of three children from a successful and artistic family, I have learned to think both business-wise and creatively. Despite all the wonderful experiences in my life and what I received from home, I did not learn how to take good care of myself in difficult and stressful situations.
At 26, I developed unexplained symptoms, which were later diagnosed as a hereditary heart condition. A drastic lifestyle change and medication gave me confidence and hope for a healthy life.
A few years ago, when I lost my husband due to a medical error, my world turned upside down. As an executive coach and medical business advisor, I found the help I needed at the Medical Coach Institute to process this loss. This inspired me to help others cope with severe chronic situations.
I realized that I am the best expert in my own situation and that the only way forward is through the pain. Everything I have learned and done in my life now comes together in my mission to support people both personally and professionally in times of crisis.

My Approach
My method is holistic and personal, emphasizing the understanding of each individual's unique story and needs.
I believe in building a partnership based on trust and empathy, working together to achieve your goals and overcome obstacles, empowering you every step of the way.
No client is the same, and neither is any coaching session. I always assess where the client is and meet them at the point where we can start the process. However, there are guiding principles that help people identify and create their unique and authentic road map to well-being. In this, I am committed to being your supportive and trusted ally.
I combine all my knowledge as a coach and business professional to create a personal, practical, and effective process of change and empowerment. As a client, you want to transition from merely surviving to living a meaningful life while managing the emotional, psychological, and spiritual impact of your situation during treatment and recovery.
In the coaching process, I see you as a client or directly involved person beyond your circumstances. I hold you accountable for your goals, your vision, and the coaching process.
My aim is to create a collaboration in which you can be safe and in which you learn to become agile in the challenges that arise. My attitude is based on honesty and professionalism.

In my work I am bound to the Ethical Coade of the Medical Coach Institute and the ICF.
I offer sessions both on-site and online, in both Dutch and English. A coaching session lasts up to 1 hour and 30 minutes.
You can book individual sessions or a series of sessions. The process of building resilience, recovery, and finding meaning takes time. The initial consultation is always free of charge.
