When life comes in waves, medical coaching helps you stay upright

What medical coaching can mean for you

An attentive, professional form of support during illness, recovery, and life's big questions.

Medical coaching isn’t about theory — it’s personal support in times of extreme upheaval. When stress, illness, or exhaustion turns your life upside down and your health is under pressure, medical coaching helps you find direction — in your thoughts, your emotions, and your body. It offers space for everything that arises, without judgment. So that you don’t have to hold it all together on your own, but can move forward with care and steadiness. In your own way, at your own pace.

Illness, stress, or a medical diagnosis can suddenly turn your life upside down. You may feel tired, anxious, or uncertain. Your mind is in overdrive, your body is protesting, and those around you don’t always know how to respond. Meanwhile, you just keep going — or perhaps you’ve come to a standstill. In moments like these, you long for peace. For clarity. For someone to walk alongside you without judgment — not to fix things, but to explore together: What do I truly need right now?

When your body is worn down by illness or exhaustion, there’s only one thing you want: to feel better again

Medical coaching supports that process — by paying attention to what’s happening inside. Because how you deal with uncertainty, emotions, and major life changes has a direct impact on your physical recovery.

In our conversations, there’s space for everything that touches you: physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. You’ll learn to navigate what is happening now and discover how to strengthen your resilience, step by step. At your pace, in your way. So that you don’t just keep going, but begin to reconnect with what truly matters to you.

And yes, there is room for lightness too. A genuine laugh, a moment of relief — even in the midst of difficulty. Not because things are easy, but because joy is also a form of strength. It opens something, precisely where things feel stuck.

There’s no loneliness like that of someone whose fears are met with misunderstanding
In our conversations, there’s space for everything you carry: worries, grief, confusion — and also longing, hope, curiosity. You’ll receive practical tools and a sounding board. So you can start to feel direction again. So you can be yourself again — or perhaps even discover a deeper version of who you are.

My approach centers on the human being, not the symptoms
I look at you in context — your body, your story, your work, your relationships, and your daily life. And always with gentleness toward what has no name yet, but does want to be felt.

What makes this form of coaching different?

In medical coaching, I see you as a whole person. Medical coaching is not therapy, nor is it an advisory process. I don’t work with diagnoses or protocols. My approach is both gentle and incisive, with attention to what you feel, think, and long for — even if you can’t quite put it into words yet. We work at your pace and within your capacity. Not to fix you, but to create space for healing, clarity, and meaning.

In times of crisis, you need something different than when life runs smoothly. When fear, uncertainty, pain, or panic are part of the picture, everything feels different: your thoughts, your body, your responses. That’s when quick fixes won’t help — what you need is presence, slowing down, and attuned support. This form of coaching offers exactly that — careful, human-centered, and attentive to the deeper layers of what you’re going through. Because real change begins with acknowledging where you are now.

Coaching isn’t a checklist. Change unfolds in the process — and shapes who you become."

Questions you may recognize

Sometimes you know exactly what’s on your mind. Sometimes it’s just a feeling — that something is stirring beneath the surface.

The questions below reflect themes I often encounter in conversations.
Perhaps one of them speaks to you, too.

When your world suddenly changes

  • How do I stay grounded when everything I once took for granted has fallen away?
  • How do I find direction when old certainties no longer apply?
  • What do I do with the sense that my identity has shifted?
  • How can I learn to trust my body again — and myself?

What’s happening inside you

  • How do I deal with thoughts and feelings I find hard to share?
  • How do I stay true to what I know deep down, even when it’s difficult?
  • How can I give space to grief, anger or confusion — without being overwhelmed by it?
  • How do I speak honestly about what’s going on, without burdening those around me?

Who am I — and what truly matters?

  • What’s left of me when my health or role changes?
  • How do I give meaning to what I’m going through?
  • What do I live for if old goals no longer fit?
  • How do I regain a sense of purpose — even if I don’t understand everything?

Daring to think forward

  • How do I make choices when I don’t know what lies ahead?
  • How can I make space for longing without setting myself up for disappointment?
  • How do I dare to trust in a future I can’t yet see?
  • How do I prevent everything from revolving around the medical?

Space for what you think, feel, and believe

When body, mind, and beliefs are all given space, something essential begins to unfold: calm, clarity, and healing.

In my way of working, the body plays a vital role. We don’t just listen to your words, but also to what your body is telling us — through sensations, signals, or tension. Especially when words fall short, the body reveals a deeper wisdom. By pausing and tuning in, insight, direction, and healing can emerge.

During our sessions, we use conversation techniques that bring depth. Think of EFT to ease tension, exercises that activate your inner resources, or gentle approaches to help you process overwhelming experiences. We also explore the stories you’ve come to believe about yourself. By consciously recognizing and reframing limiting beliefs, space opens up for new perspectives — and for both gentleness and strength.

Everything unfolds in mutual alignment — not based on a fixed formula, but attuned to what you can handle, where you are, and what truly matters in the moment.

When everything feels unsteady

Sometimes the old no longer fits, but the new has yet to take shape. In that in-between space, something precious can emerge: room for what doesn’t need fixing — but does long to be felt, acknowledged, and explored.

Maybe you feel empty, overstimulated, or as if you’ve lost touch with yourself along the way. Or perhaps you understand what’s going on rationally, but feel emotionally disconnected.

I offer you a quiet, clear space where you can return to yourself.

Without judgment, without rush. Together, we explore what life is asking of you right now — with gentleness, with direction, and with respect for what is.

So you can slowly begin to land in who you are. Not as it once was, but as a new, grounded version of yourself.
